Foreign Ministry’s travel reminder: the last ferry from Sassnitz to Paldiski departs on Saturday

Saturday 18 April is the last departure of the freight line between Paldiski and Sassnitz, operated three times a week since 27 March by the Tallink vessel Star, which also took on regular passengers with cars.

This is the last week that passengers who would like to return to Estonia with the Paldiski-Sassnitz line are able to do so. Please note that passengers without a car will not be allowed to board. The ship has the capacity of 100 lorries and 10 passenger vehicles. Food products and medicinal products have priority when assembling the cargo. All passengers will be provided with accommodation in cabins.

After 18 April, the alternative option for passengers travelling from southern Europe to Estonia by car are the Kapellskär-Paldiski ferry lines.

Tickets for the departures of the DFDS ferry operator on the Kapellskär-Paldiski route can be booked by individuals travelling by car only by calling +372 666 1675, subject to availability. The schedule is available on the website https://www.dfds.com/et-ee/reisilaevad

Tickets for Tallink’s Kapellskär-Paldiski ferry can be booked by passengers travelling by car by calling +372 612 8686 or emailing [email protected]. Private individuals can use the ferry line for the duration of the emergency until the Tallinn-Stockholm route is reopened. The schedule and information is available on Tallink’s website https://www.tallink.ee/et/vali-reis
